Gwynne Cadle

Gwynne Griner Cadle, age 76, passed away on Monday July 23, 2018 at the Legends Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation facility in New Braunfels, TX. She was born on December 26, 1941 in Galveston, TX and raised in Texas City, TX. Gwynne graduated from Texas City High School in 1959 and attended Southwest Texas State University. She married William (Bill) D. Cadle Jr. in 1961 and they had three children together. Gwynne and Bill moved around in the early years of their marriage including Texas, Alabama, Illinois, Ohio, and returned to Texas. She and Bill raised their family in San Antonio. After her children were out of the house, Bill’s job moved them to Guam, California, Virginia, returned to San Antonio briefly, and finally to Houston. She and Bill moved to New Braunfels in October 2016 to be closer to their daughters. Gwynne is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Karen Cadle Beago, daughter Susan Cadle Bineham, son Christopher David Cadle, sister Gretchen Owen, and cousin Gordon Griner. A memorial service will be held on August 25, 2018 at 2pm at Crossroads Baptist Church on Tezel Rd. in San Antonio. The Cadle family extends our gratitude to all the staff at the Legend Oaks facility for the treatment Gwynne received. The family encourages others to donate to or become active with a local Alzheimer’s group.
