It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Guadalupe G. Trevino on August 5, 2013, after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s. Lupe was born in Parras, Mexico to Apolinar & Prudencia Gonzalez on December 16, 1917.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pedro Trevino and all of her siblings.
She is survived by daughter, Judith Zabinski & her husband Casimir of Kingwood, TX; son, Dr. David Trevino & his wife Jan of Pottstown, PA; son, Dennis Trevino of San Antonio. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Cristina McGowen, Elizabeth Goodman, Emily Hepler, Peter Trevino, Michael Trevino, Dominic Trevino and Lorenzo Trevino; 3 great grandchildren, Ryan McGowen, Makalya McGowen and Wesley Goodman.
She worked 30 years at Frost Brothers and was top salesperson for most of those years. After retiring, she volunteered at St. P.J. Catholic Charity, participated in Ladies Bible Studies, traveling, and she cared for her terminally ill husband until his passing with steadfast love and devotion. She leaves behind beautiful memories, lots of love and wonderful examples of selflessness and she was blessed by the goodness and graciousness of God Almighty who is the Maker, Sustainer and Lord of Life, Death and Eternal Life.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
