Guadalupe A. Magallanez born September 12, 1925 in Luling, Texas departed us June 3, 2012 at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Juanita. Survived by sons and daughters George Magallanez (Minnie), Esther Saenz (David), Beatrice Palacios (Eloy), Guadalupe Magallanez, Jr. (Yolanda), and Olga Rea (Joe); 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many friends and relatives. Visitation at 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Chapel. Prayer service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Chapel followed by Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
