Lupe met Jose Flores in May 1972 and later got married on April 14, 1975. From that day on, their love grew stronger. Lupe and Jose were each other’s lifelong companion and friend. They had a marriage full of love, adventure, joy, laughter, and happiness for almost 50 years.
She was an avid gardener who loved tending to her multicolored roses. She adored her pets; Suko, her parrot, and her cockatoos. She loved to spend time with her family, going to the pulga, and dancing at every family event. Lupe was a woman of faith and attended church every Sunday. She unconditionally loved her daughters, but the true love of her life was her grandchildren.
Lupe is reunited in heaven with her parents, Teresa and Jesus Ayala; daughter, Marina “Rosie” Coronado; granddaughter, Charlie Herrera; brother, Chino, and her three fur babies; Coco, Muffin, and Princess.
Her spirit is carried on by her loving husband, Jose Socorro Flores; daughters, Maria (Rick) Fitzpatrick, Corina (Salvador) Medina, Reyna Flores, and Cynthia (Victor) Velasco; brothers, Juan and Rogelio; sisters, Maria, Estella, and Sandra; 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
