Guadalupe C. Dorado, age 94, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in San Antonio, TX surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Daniel Dorado Sr.; her children: Daniel Dorado Jr., Diana La Fuenta, Jose R. Dorado Sr. (JoAnn), Martha Wilburn (Ollie), Arthur A. Dorado (Rose), David R. Dorado (Mannie); sister Felicitas Hernandez; 21 grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Guadalupe was born on August 13, 1927 in Robstown, TX to Cayetano and Felipa Casiano. She married Daniel Dorado Sr. on Sunday, February 11, 1951 and raised their six children in Laredo, TX before moving to San Antonio, TX.
Growing up, Guadalupe picked every crop you could imagine. She enjoyed cooking, teaching her daughters how to cook, dancing, and playing bingo. Lady Luck was always on her side when she visited the Las Vegas slot machines. Those who knew her will miss her dearly.
