Guadalupe Alvarez born on April 22, 1949 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on June 25, 2014 at the age of 65. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Alvarez Jr.; son, Pedro Alvarez III; Parents, Julian and Luz Moreno; brother, Julian Moreno and Jose Moreno; sister, Petra Moreno. Mrs. Alvarez is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Torchia (Matthew Dambrosio); son, Carlos Moreno (Rachel); grandchildren; Joey Solis, Alexis Alvarez, Isaac Moreno, Brice Alvarez, Adrian Moreno, Carlos Moreno and Brian Moreno; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Ray Moreno (Carol) and Ruben Moreno; sister-in-law, Minnie Moreno; also, numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
