Gracie Cortez

Gracie Cortez born on December 3, 1964 in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2012 at the age of 47 years. She is preceded in death by parents; Jose Angel and Rebecca Hernandez. She is survived by husband, Daniel R. Cortez, Sr.; children, Daniel Cortez, Jr. (Cynthia Lira), Destiny Denise Cortez, and Desiree Cortez (Johnny Hernandez); grandchildren, Joel C. Lopez, Daniel Cortez III, Johnny Hernandez, Jr., Allyson F. Hernandez, Danyka C. Rogers, and Leah Grace Hernandez; sisters and brother; Debbie, Elvia, Joe Angel, and Monica Hernandez; best friends; Molly and Nick Torres; also, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana Dr., San Antonio, TX 78218.
