Dear Sister Grace,

Even though it has been many years since your passing - you, mom and dad are all together now.   I enjoy bringing my folding chair and umbrella with me when I come to visit all of you throughout the year.  

I have such wonderful memories of you when we were growing up all the way to the day of your marriage.   

Thank you for being my big sister.  I love and miss all of you but find comfort in knowing that all of you are close together.

I can hardly believe that Grace has been gone for 10 years. I still think of her every now and then, when I want to reach out to my best friend growing up. I think about her family and how much we all lost the day she passed. I pray for her and her mom and dad every night, that they all rest in peace. I know she loved her little girls very, very much and is looking down on them from Heaven. I just wanted to share something that she emailed me once:

I know in my heart that my children love me and that they will never forget who is their true mother.
No one could ever replace me.
I will always be their true and forever mother.
I have spent many sleepless nights cuddling my babies and breast-feeding my children. 
I am truly bonded to my little babies.
I am truly blessed by God.
God blessed with my children.

Grace, 
 You were a wonderful wife, the best any man could hope for. You were a great mother of two wonderful girls, now approaching adulthood. I miss you and can and will never forget. 
 It's been five years, and there are few days that go by that I don't think about you.

Dear GOD, 
 I pray that my mom is safe with you, LORD. I pray to one day I will find my true family. I'm glad to be born by my mom and wish to be with her right now. I just wish that knew her more... It is so hard to think that she is gone but th important part is that she is in a better place and is able to watch over me. I remember that she was great in art because she used to draw pictures of Lauren and me. I remember that I found pictures that she sent to us but apparently my foster mom didn't want me to see them, i guess. LORD, please keep my mom safe and tell her i miss her lots and i will always love her, heart and soul. Amen.

My sincerest sympathies to the family. I am deeply saddened to hear of Gracies passing. We were very close friends in high school. I remember her parents well and my prayers go out to Mrs. Pena. I lost touch with her many years ago and always wondered what became of her. It does not surprise me to learn she remained a remarkable person and I am happy to hear she has two beautiful little girls who will keep her legacy alive. I only learned of her passing through my mom who saw her obituary in the paper. I was deeply saddened I was unable to attend the services since I was out of state during that week. May God comfort the family and sustain all of you during this most difficult time. I will keep her and the family in my prayers. She was always a very sweet and precious soul, God Bless You Always Gracie.

May God ease your pain during this difficult time. I pray Grace's daughters are blessed with wonderful memories of their Mother. I also pray that they are taken care of as Grace would have wanted. Grace and I attended UTSA together and were in a couple of business classes together. I stood in her wedding and remember the day like yesterday. The church service and reception were beautiful. She was very content with how things were going in her life. Grace was very sweet and kind. Amen.
