Gloria Dora Saenz

Gloria Dora Saenz, beloved mother, sister and aunt, entered rest on April 27, 2012 at the age of 86. She was born in New Braunfels, Texas on October 29, 1925 to Francisco and Rafaela Saenz. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Alfonso G. Gonzalez; and 2nd husband, Rufus K. Howell. She is survived by her one and only loving daughter, Eileen S. Gonzalez; brother, Alonso Saenz and wife Juanita L. Saenz; niece, Patricia S. Torres and husband Vicente Torres; their daughters, Miranda L. Torres and Marina A. Torres; and several cousins. Gloria was very devoted and deep rooted to her family. She will be remembered by her daughter, not only as a mother but a friend with genuine love and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 to celebrate a 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
