Gloria Ramos

Gloria attended Fox Tech High School and nursing school at the Baptist Hospital, where she was a licensed vocational nurse for over 30 years. An avid Spurs fan, she was a member and officer of the Altar Society at Little Flower Basilica.

She is survived by her children, Laura (Darr) Weeks, Henry (Leticia) Martinez and Louis (Jeanne) Martinez of San Antonio and Diana (Brian) Rapoza of Dallas; sister-in-law Tommie Rangel; grandchildren Lauren, Lana, Eric, Alicia, Steven, Myles, Joshua, Samantha, Julian, and Adrian; great-grandchildren Jude, Savannah, and Stevie Rae; and her two dogs, Gigi and Nico.

She was preceded in death by parents Cirillo and Josephina Rangel; husband Raul Ramos, brothers Raul and Humberto Rangel, and sisters Mary Talerico and Esther Rangel.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 27 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 28 at Little Flower Basilica.

The family thanks the staff at Gentiva Hospice and the Baptist Medical Center for their compassionate care of Gloria.
