Gloria Alicia Coronado, age 87, passed away August 28, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 26, 1926 in Laredo, Texas to Rodolfo and Concepcion Garcia. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Julian and a son, Roy Coronado. She is survived by her children, Gloria Cook and husband Barry, Julian Coronado Jr., Irma Muniz and husband Juan, Terry Jimenez, Daniel Coronado and wife Leticia; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd in San Antonio,Texas on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. Monday, September 8, 2014 for a 9:30 A.M. mass at st. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78228 with Rev. Phillip Henning officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
