Gloria G. Arciniega

August 17, 1932 – October 25, 2023

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Gloria Arciniega, 91, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023, in Conroe, Texas.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joe Arciniega, who was waiting for her as she entered the gates of heaven.

Gloria enjoyed a successful career in the Financial Services Industry (Gill Mortgage, Mortgage Investment Corporation, Bank Plus and American Funds). When she wasn’t working, you could find her coaching her daughters on the softball field or watching her son play baseball, basketball, or football. Her children and grandchildren could always count on her to cheer them on, not only on the field, but in life.

Gloria is survived by her children; Linda Fulgham and husband Larry; Sharon Balsinger and husband Stephen; Richard Arciniega and wife Kelley. Grandchildren Elizabeth Garcia and husband Jayson (Tristan and Everette); Brandon Hopkins, Cassandra Kingery and husband Dalton (Krosbi), Caroline Zoretic and husband Tyler (Oliver and Hendrix), Macen Arciniega, Maxx Arciniega and fiancé Allison, Sara Casey and husband Josh (Emma, Michael and Kristen), and Bryan Balsinger.

We will miss our mother but take comfort knowing that she will live on in our hearts.

Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated on November 10, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road, Helotes, Texas 78023 with entombment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
