Gladys Loretta Garcia, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, entered eternal rest on January 25, 2015 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 89. Born to Virgil and Irene Sanford on January 26, 1925 in Bronson, TX, she now reunites with her parents; brothers: Wayne, Troy, C.V., L.V.; and her half-brother Claude Terrell. She is survived by her loving husband of over 33 years, Daniel Garcia; children: Sheila (Paul) Acosta, Gloria (Eulojio) Hernandez, Ronald Keith Soliz,Kelvin Chris Soliz; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; half-sister Margaret Rodriguez of Nacogdoches; and numerous other relatives. Gladys had a passion for dancing. She was a big movie buff, as she enjoyed watching movies and TV on her free time. She delighted herself and others by making ceramics and sewing, which she had an exceptional talent in. Gladys was also an amazing cook and baker. She was known through her church, family and friends for her delicious baked goods, such as her pineapple cream pie, banana cream pie, rum cake, and Hawaiian wedding cake, to name a few. Her wonderful presence and loving spirit will be missed dearly. The family will be receiving guests on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue on Monday, Febraury 9, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a Gravesite service at Ft.
