She was a very active parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she held numerous memberships including the Parish Council of Catholic Women PCCW and St. Anne's Guild. She was also a member of the Sultanas de Bejar, and the Empress Candle Garden Club.
She graduated from Hotel Dieux in New Orleans, Louisiana and served as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
Survived by husband, William R. Crowley; children, Tish Crowley and Jesse Ochoa, Cindy Eastman and husband, Kirk, Linda Crowley, Donah Crowley all of San Antonio, William R. "Chip" Crowley, Jr. of Austin,; grandchildren, Kyndel, Hannah and Jason; great grandchild, Aimee Kern. She is also survived by nephew, Chuck Bordis and wife Becky of Labadieville, LA; nieces Tina Howell and husband, Larry of Napoleonville, LA, Timmie Ordoyne and Mellie Talbot and husband Greg of Plattenville, LA; numerous great nieces and great nephews and a host of lifelong friends in San Antonio and Louisiana.
