MSG George E. Morris, Ret. U.S. Army passed away November 20, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on April 13, 1944 in Niles, Michigan to Raymond and Phyllis Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet A. Morris; children, James (Denise) Morris, Christopher (Monica) Ibañez, Jenny Nate Morris, MSgt Scott (Rita) Ibanez and Lisa Ibañez; sisters, Norma (Don) Arnold, Margie (Gene) Sherwood, Leanna (Dale) Young; brother, Ray (Sandy) Morris; 11 grandchildren, Taylor Morris, Payton Morris, Anastasia Ibañez, Tony Nate, Davan Ibañez, Nikki Nate, Tommy Nate, Hanna Ibañez, Jakob Ibañez, Aydin Dehoyos and Lilliana Jo Ibañez. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road with Rev. Joe Walts officiating. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army honors.
