George Leslie McKee Jr.

George Leslie McKee Jr., age 74, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. George was born on April 25, 1948 to Beatrice and George Leslie McKee Sr in San Antonio, Texas. He was a hard worker and worked at Alamo Cement for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting, and shopping, and he was a big Tom Brady fan.

George is preceded in death by both of his parents, George L. McKee Sr., and Beatrice McKee; his sisters, Frances McKee and Ester Hickman; his niece, Leslie; and nephew, TJ. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret L. McKee; his 3 children, George L. McKee III, Ann-Margaret (Chris) Vega, and Dr. Peter L. McKee; his 4 grandchildren, Naiomy Garcia, Hadon McKee, Nathaniel Vega, and Nigel Vega; his daughter, JoAnn Schneck (Patrick, Brandon, Chelsey); and his siblings, Dorothy, Beatrice, and Mike.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave., San Antonio, Texas. The funeral mass will be the next morning, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony de Padua, 102 Lorenz Rd., San Antonio, Texas will burial following at San Fernando #3 Cemetery, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, Texas.
