George Ybarra Gonzalez, born on April 23, 1940 in Blewett, TX was called to be with the Lord on July 3, 2016 at the age of 76. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Maria E. Gonzalez; sons, George S. Gonzalez, Armando S. Gonzalez and Carlos S. Gonzalez (Martha Rangel); 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; aunt, Mage Musquiz; brother, David Y. Gonzalez (Olivia); sisters, Maria Elena Palacios (Richard), Irma G. Casarez, Carmen G. Villapando (Gilbert), Beatriz G. Navarro and Esther Gonzalez. The Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Service to be conducted at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Madonna Neighborhood Center, 1906 Castroville Rd. San Antonio, TX 78237. Services will conclude in the funeral home chapel.
