Gary Keith Hiser, age 85, passed away on October 19, 2022, in San Antonio, TX. He was born on August 22, 1937, in Levi, West Virginia. Gary was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
A lover of the outdoors, he spent many days with his sons hunting and fishing. Retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service and getting master’s degree in business, he moved on into the insurance business.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Cecile Hiser and his daughter, Diana Bilodeau. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Monika; his children, Michael Hiser and his wife, Dana, Daniel Hiser and his wife, Kendal; and Heidi Hiser; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his sister Diann Abbot and brothers Robert Hiser and Edward Hiser.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, November 28th at 1:15 PM (Shelter #2) at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Air Force Honors.
