It was a pleasure knowing and working with you. You will be missed as our favorite sub teacher.

I have the most respect for Gabriel.He always had a smile to offer even though I didn't know him that well and he made Shannon happy.Rest in Peace Gabriel.

He was a wonderful teacher whom the students enjoyed learning from in class. I had the pleasure of co-teaching with Gabriel during a substitute assignment at HHS. The world has lost a shining star.

Gabriel will be greatly missed at Harlandale High School.  His family is in our prayers.

Gabe, you will be missed. I cherish the memories and the friendship we had for a long time. I can still see you in your trench coat walking down the halls in school. My thoughts are with you and your family. You are always in my heart and never forgotten.

              I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your husband, father and loved one. I have been pondering on the words that would express how sorry I am to hear of Gabriel's passing. Only to realize that there are no words that can express the sadness I feel. When I look back on the last time I saw Gabriel. He was walking into the Tejeda office with his usual smile and his happy go lucky swagger. I couldn't help but think “what a cool Cat”, then when I saw you both together I thought to myself “there goes that cool couple”.  Your love was evident and your happiness showed and that's something that only our good God makes happen. Please know that I am praying for you and your family. God Bless.

Gabe was a great caring thoughtful, and imaginative person. He helped make the world a better place and now he will be missed. I presonally have a huge hole in my heart that he used to fill. I had known him since 10th grade. The smiles mixed with saddness will never stop when I think of him. God bless his family, for future generations of it will not get the chance to really know him. We love you always.

I am very saddened by the loss of such a unique and wonderful individual. I worked with Gabe and knew he was very excited about getting a teaching position with HISD. He was a good person and always very outgoing and willing to help. My condolences to the Sanchez family.
