Frances Hernandez Garcia, born on June 5, 1924 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on January 25, 2017 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Marcelina Hernandez; son, Manuel Garcia; grandsons, Michael Guevara and Jeremy Amesquita; brothers, Henry, Frank and Joe; sisters, Consuelo and Hortencia. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Daniel M. Garcia; children, Velia Garcia, Josephine Amesquita, Rose Martinez (Daniel), Elizabeth Guevara and Esther Porter (Roland); 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Bertha Ramon; also, numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2
