Faye was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde O. Burns; son, Larry W. Burns; grandson, Andrew Horn; father, K. B. Ayers; mother, Julia Cowart Ayers; brothers, “Red” Ayers, Walter Ayers and O. D. Ayers; sisters, Evelyn Ayers Turner, Doris Ayers Blackley, Ophelia Ayers James and Mary Ayers Howell. She is survived by her children, Barbara Horn and her husband Steve, and Kathy Gish and her husband Jay; grandchildren, Kelli Esparza, Matt Horn, Zach Horn, Chad Oates, Julie Howe, Caitlyn Serrano and Jordan Gish; great-grandchildren, Shelby Jones, Lily and Lorenzo Esparza, Peyton Oates, Ethan and Eli Howe, and Gracie Horn.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 9:00am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
