Eva T. Barber was born on June 19, 1919 in San Antonio, TX and she entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2010 at the age of 90. Mrs. Barber served the Lord for many years as a minister, and was dedicated to helping family and friends in any way. She loved to cook and bake and spend time with her family. She was survived by her daughter, Irene McBurnett and husband Douglas; son, Jack Barber; grandson, Howard McBurnett and wife Diana; great-grandsons, Christopher and John William McBurnett; great-great granddaughter, Millian McBurnett; sister, Lupe Ann Trevino; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers and a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2010 to conduct the Funeral Mass at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 710 Clower; at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
