Esther Vasquez, born on October 28, 1921 to Melecio Villarreal and Francisca Mercado, went to be with our Lord on March 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Vasquez, Sr., two sons; Raymond Vasquez, Jr., Artemio Vasquez, and her two brothers. She is survived by her sons; Reynaldo Vasquez and wife Oralia, Victor Vasquez; daughters, Rachel Salazar and Julio Monge, Lydia Hart and husband Greg, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Rachel Garcia and family, and Pat Garza, for the loving care of their mother. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm, and continue with visitation on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 9:00am to 9:00pm. We will meet at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church for a Resurrection Mass. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
