Esmeralda Sanchez

Esmeralda Sanchez, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico on April 9, 1957, and was the daughter of Ofelia Nino and Antonio Sanchez. She enjoyed life to the fullest and took care of those around her. She had many hobbies, such as gardening, journaling, gambling, traveling, sewing, and spending time with her family. Esmi was a fierce, strong, amazing woman and will greatly be missed. Her memory will forever be in our hearts.

Esmi is preceded in death by her mother, Ofelia Nino Sanchez, sister, Maria De Los Angeles Benavidez, and brother Homero Sanchez.

She was married to Jose. R. Marin for 24 devoted years. Esmeralda known as Esmi to many who adored her is survived by her beloved father, Antonio Sanchez, and her husband, Jose R. Marin. Daughters, Maria Angie Perez and Anna Moreno; Son-in-law, Bernardino Moreno Jr.; son, Jose Perez. Along with granddaughters, Destinee Browning and Angelina Lopez; grandsons Giovanni Moreno and Camilo Moreno. Also with several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation for Esmi will be Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3814 Nash Blvd. San Antonio TX 78223 with interment to follow in Mission Park South.
