He is preceded in death by his sons, Ernest Torres and Leroy Torres; granddaughter, Valerie Torres.

He is survived by his wife, Mary R. Torres; sons, Ruben Torres and Edward Torres; grandchildren, Adrian Garcia Torres, Jessica Torres and Veronica Torres; great grandson, Adrian Garcia Torres Jr.; sisters, Dora Canales and Zoila Morales; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78226. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78226.
