Ernestina C. Romero

Ernestina Cedillo Romero went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 90. She was born in Welder, Texas on December 17, 1929 to her parents, the late Santos and Juanita Cedillo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her great-granddaughter, Christina Raquel Gonzalez; and her siblings, Manuel Cedillo, Tomasa Gutierrez, Fortunato Cedillo, Ramiro Cedillo, Santos Cedillo Jr., Alfredo Cedillo and Caridad Ramos.

Ernestina leaves her memory to her children, Jose M. Garcia and Raquel G. Lopez; her grandchildren, Michelle Lopez and Erica Garcia; her great-grandchildren, Mia N. Gonzalez, Lauren L. Maldonado, Ayden M. Garcia and Aubrey G. Garcia; her siblings, Domingo Cedillo, Vicente Cedillo, Juanita Reyna, Rose Turbeville and Roberto Cedillo; her beloved dog, Tortilla; and her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who all loved her.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Rd. 78237 – will be limited to only 75 people in the building at a time.

The Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 18 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Procession will depart from the chapel on Friday, June 19 at 8:45 AM and arrive at St. Henry’s Catholic Church – 1619 S. Flores 78204 – for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Mission Burial Park South – 1700 SE Military Dr. 78214. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times
