Enriqueta Chavez

Enriqueta “Queta” Chavez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. She was born October 8, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents Andres and Rosa Lopez and a sister Eudelia Magro. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gustavo Chavez, Jr.; children, Gustavo Chavez, III and wife Liz, Cynthia De Los Santos and husband Chris; grandchildren, Jessica, Joel, Jacob, Christopher, Jr. and Marisa; and great granddaughter, Isabel; brother, George Lopez; sister, Catarina Linkous and other nieces and nephews. She loved to go to Las Vegas. She and her husband went to Hawaii for their 25th wedding anniversary. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Floresville Nursing and Rehab Center for their care and support. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 12:00pm At Sunset Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
