Enrique Huerta Pena

Enrique Huerta Pena born on September 7, 1924 in Kingsville, Texas was called to be with the Lord on October 8, 2014 at the age of 90. He served in the United States Army Air Force from April 1943 to March 1946. He received the American Theatre Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Victory Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elva M. Pena. He is survived by his children: Henry Pena (Brenda), Norma Martinez (Israel), Ernest Pena (Sandra), Elva Padia (Roy), Robert Pena (Ronnie), Ruben Pena, Richard Pena (Becky), Rudy Pena, Roger Pena (Elizabeth) and Daneen Valdez (Danny); sister, Mary Lou Holdsforth; brother, Billy Pena; 35 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; also, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in the funeral home chapel.
