Emery Yeager was born to William Moses Yeager and Juanita Mitchell Yeager in Seminole, Oklahoma on November 10, 1944. He passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the age of 70 years and 4 months. He is survived by his wife Jeannie Yeager and daughter, Toni Yeager Birmingham, her husband Gary and their four children, Braden, Casey, Taylor and Alex Birmingham. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Andrew Yeager. He is survived by two brothers and one sister; William Steve and Patricia Yeager of Seminole Oklahoma, Foster Flint Yeager of Wewoka Oklahoma, Marshalene and Jerry Harjo of Seminole, Oklahoma, and many nieces, nephews and other family. Emery was wounded in combat in 1967 in VietNam. He served honorably in the US Army for 25 years. He also was employed as a Dept. of Army civilian for a number of years. He worked at DECA in East Kelly and the Provost Marshal’s office at Fort Sam Houston. We will miss him dearly. Visitation will take place in the Sunset Funeral home chapel Monday April 6, 2015 at 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 3:00pm. Interment will take place in the Sunset Memorial Park.
