Elwood Otto Albert, 85 years, 8 months, 17 days, went to his Lord, January 21, 2018. Born May 5, 1932 (as Elwood would remind you Cinco de Mayo) in Floresville, TX to Elo and Selma (Baumann) Albert. Elwood worked as a barber for forty years at Fort Sam Houston. He was drafted into the Army and fought in the Korean War. Elwood was married to Myrtle (Sadie) then after her death married Hazel (Brooks). He is survived by his brother Edwin and his wife Harriett and step-daughters: Mollie, Brenda and Thelma Sue; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wives Myrtle and Hazel, Elmo (brother), Elo (father) and Selma (mother).
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 12pm at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
