She graduated from the Universidad De Nuevo Leon in 1947, with a nursing degree. She served our community as a Registered Nurse at Cristus Santa Rosa Hospital, formerly known as Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital, for 20 years. As the head critical care nurse, she worked what would eventually be known as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church for many years and was involved in many church activities. She enjoyed watching murder mysteries, doing puzzles, word searches and the occasional game of dominoes.
Most importantly, she was a loving and devoted grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Often dedicating months to help with the grand kids. All will miss her; but we are at peace for she has gone to her reward in heaven.
