Mrs. Hernandez worked in civil service at Kelly Air Force Base for over 25 Years. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Spanish Choir. Eloisa was an avid gardener, she collected an assortment of flowers and spices, but she did love traveling with her family and making memories on road trips.
Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Jr.; sister, Janie Dominguez.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Jose Hernandez; her four children, Guadalupe Hernandez, Janita (Cresencio) Riojas, Jose T. Hernandez, John Paul Hernandez; sister, Margaret (Fred) Pacheco, Silvia & Estella Avila; Aunt Alicia Salazar; Sister & Brother –in-Laws, Rachel & Jamie Lopes, Henry & Patricia Hernandez, Raynaldo Dominguez, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Eloisa Hernandez loved life, her family and friends. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. After Holy Mass we will congregate at Funeral Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home for Visitation starting Friday, September 29, 2023 from 3:00p.m.-12:00a.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. where services will conclude.
