Elizabeth Bourn (affectionately known as "Namo" by her Bourn family), 87, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, peacefully went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2022. She entered this world on April 7, 1935, in Graham, Texas, born to J.R. and Irene Elliott (oldest of six). She was an incredible sister and loved her siblings deeply. Her interests included baking family recipes, shopping, and volunteering to help people in need. Of course, her greatest pleasure was watching her sons and her grandsons play football and baseball. Elizabeth was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was known to carry around a photo book of pictures of all of her kids to show them off to "the ladies."
Liz was an amazing woman who was known for the way that she selflessly loved everyone. She was a longstanding resident of Slaton, Texas, and resided in San Antonio and The Woodlands, Texas in her later years. She dedicated her life to her family and community. She is survived by her sons, Tim (wife Nancy) and Gary (Janie); four grandchildren Gary (wife Jill), Nick (wife Ashley), Connor (wife Sam), and Courtney; and six great grandchildren Kaylie, Jason, Brynlee, Jeremiah, Kailani, and Eryn.
She is also survived by her sister, Mary Lou, and her nephews.
Elizabeth was precded in death by her parents, husband Timothy Bourn, and two sons; Jeffrey and Steven Bourn.
The visitation will be 9am, Monday, April 18, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas, with a Graveside Funeral Service to follow 10 am.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Bourn, Gary Bourn, Gary Bourn II, Nick Bourn, Connor Bourn, and Jason Bourn.
