The Lord welcomed Elisa L. Salazar home on May 15, 2024 at the age of 104. Born December 3, 1919, Somerset, Texas; she was daughter of Camillo and Seferina Lopez. Mrs. Salazar was a devoted and loving wife, sister, tia, and madrina. Mrs. Salazar was a strong, independent, hardworking woman who loved the Lord and dedicated her life to reflecting his image. She was an active member of the community and a Eucharistic minister for 21 years at St. Philip of Jesus. She retired at the age of 96 from the Bexar County Courthouse. Mrs. Salazar loved her spurs, tending to her beautiful garden of roses and lilies, and her many beloved: nieces, nephews, and God children. They were like the flowers of her garden, they too flourished because of the affection, warmth, and tenderness she poured into them daily. Join us in a celebration of her life at Roy Akers Funeral Home Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral mass will be held the following day, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 11:00 A.M. at St. Philip of Jesus.
