Eleanor Nix Kelly died August 9, 2014 at the age of 96. She was born Sept. 28, 1917 in La Coste, Texas to Dr. Alfred Ahlman and Myrtle Inez Ahlman. She and husband Ted Nix opened Nix Mobile Home Sales and later she started Nix Insurance Agency which is still in operation. Widowed in 1991 she married James P. Kelly.
She is survived by daughter Arlene Morgan (Jack), son Donald, grandson Russell Morgan, granddaughter Kelly Gosdin (Brad), 6 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday August 23, 2014 at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 2738 MacArthur View.
