Elaine Margaret [Prezocky Sweeney] Thomas of Magnolia, Tx, 87, died on February 4, 2023. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Rose Prezocky, father, Veto Prezocky, and husband Donald Lee Thomas. Elaine is survived by her children Cathleen Howell, Erin Duncan (Rick), Colleen Murray (Ed), and Mary Jo East (Jeff) and her grandchildren Jennifer Tisdel (Jeff), Garrett Howell (Ashley Singleton), Kelli Howell (Kevin Colson), Richard Duncan (Kaye) Josh Duncan (Nitausha), Katherine Dillard (Synjin), Gabriella East and Victoria East. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Connor Tisdel (Kelsey), Bethany Tisdel, Deacon Williams, Lily Howell, Mallory Howell, Maelynn Gerdsen, Dean Howell, Shandi Garcia, Richie Duncan, Jacob Duncan, Emilia Duncan, Oliver Duncan, Cale Duncan II and Sebastian Dillard. She is also survived by her step-daughters, including Judith Wolff.

Elaine enjoyed travelling the world, listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, and spending time with her beloved family.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2023, at St. Helena Catholic Church followed by a graveside blessing at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Park or donations may be made in her honor to Alzheimer’s Association.
