Edward R. Soriano

Edward Soriano passed away on 12-19-2022 at the age of 55 in San Antonio, Texas with his wife Frances and their children by his side. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Ricardo and Theresa Soriano on October 18th, 1967.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Pedro and Eloisa Soriano & Francisco and Victoria Ruiz.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years: Francisca Soriano; Their children; Edward Jr. (Kelley), Miguel (Andrea), and twins Sara and Emma; Two grandchildren: Titus Justus and Willow James; His parents: Theresa and Ricardo; siblings: Ricardo Jr (Debra), Vivian (Richard), Adrian (Jennifer), and Kathy (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward attended Lanier High School and shortly after attended Our Lady of the Lake University where he met the love of his life Frances. They were married in 1988 just nine months after meeting each other. Their love was indescribable. They were blessed with four children and spent their lives supporting all their endeavors. Edward was a basketball and a T- ball coach, a room parent in elementary school and led various band booster and orchestra programs. He was also very involved in the youth programs and confirmation classes at both St Phillip of Jesus Catholic Church and St Timothy’s Catholic Church.

Edward was a kind and loving man. He loved to fish and spend his free time helping others in anyway he could. He loved woodworking and making new friends wherever he went. Edward had a gift of making others feel loved and welcome in his presence. He will be remembered as a fighter, a family man, an inspiration, and a humble servant of God.
