Edward Carl Essary born on September 8, 1963 in Hondo, Texas passed away on March 19, 2018 at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by parents, William Eugene & Margaret Essary, brothers Bill Essary & Roy Essary, and son Joshua Edward Essary. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Edith Ellen Essary and their children, Rose Ellen Davila (Charles G. Jr), Justin Carl Essary (Lauren), grandchildren Breanna McGath-Davila, Tiffany Davila, Charles G. Davila III, Justin Cole Essary, and siblings Jack Essary, Wanda Awtrey Calvin Essary and numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. The Committal Service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 1:45 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
