Eddie Pardo Bustos, 67, born on December 14, 1951 died unexpectedly on August 29, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Eddie graduated from Kennedy High School in 1970, then worked for HEB Distribution Center for 14 years. Eddie worked at Kelly Air Force Base for 13 years then transferred to the United States Air Force Academy where he retired in December 2016 after 31 years of civil service. He was days away from moving back to San Antonio after 21 years away from home.
He is preceded in death by his parents Eulalio and Elida Bustos and his nephew Louie Bustos Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years Rose Marie Bustos; children Margarita (Bustos) Livermore (Dave), Jennifer Bustos, Maya Bustos and Emily Bustos; grandchildren Alexandria Torres, Trevor Zajdel and Andrew Livermore; siblings Rachel Flores and Louie Bustos; his best friend Charlie Dye and his 4 legged companion Ben; and numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie loved the Spurs and Cowboys and stayed true to them while living in Colorado. He was full of life and will be truly missed by family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.at Trevino funeral home, 226 Cupples Rd. Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate the life of Eddie Bustos.
