Dwight was born on January 12, 1946, in Houston, TX, to Micheal Erwin and Nora Bell Hall. The youngest of four boys, Milfred Kenton Hall, Autrey Lane Hall, and Sherrel Irvin Hall. He attended Sam Houston High School and the University of Houston, where he studied marketing. An entrepreneur at heart, he opened his own company, Southwest Plyboard of Texas, in 1975 and continued importing products for faithful customers until he entered the hospital.
A man of diverse interests, he found joy in exploring the world, even meeting his wife of 30 years on a flight to Brazil. Although health issues prevented him from playing in recent years, Dwight was an avid golfer who enjoyed Saturday mornings on the course followed by afternoons watching the golf channel as he soaked by the pool. He was a talented skier and had a passion for racing Porsche 911. More than this, Dwight was a man of tremendous faith and a follower of Christ.
Dwight is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Hall; daughters, Karen Klucznik and Jessica Bradshaw; son, Cary Burchett; grandchildren, Jacob Klucznik, Elizabeth Bradshaw, and Benjamin Bradshaw; niece Linda Williams and nephews, Stephen Hall and David Hall, as well as other loving relatives and numerous friends. His love for each of you was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent together.
Dwight’s presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will endure through the stories shared by family and friends, reflecting a life lived with passion, purpose, and profound love.
A service to celebrate his life and the impact he made on those he loved will be held in San Antonio, and will be announced shortly.
