Dudley Jack Trafford went to be with the Lord Thursday night, November 4, 2010. He was born on August 1, 1932 in Greensburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bessie Trafford, brother, Donald Trafford and his first wife Regina Trafford. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army for 24 years. He is a Vietnam veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star Medal of Honor for his dedication and commitment to our country. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. His spirit was contagious and he will surely by missed by his family and friends. His loving memory lives on in the hearts of those he left behind. He is survived by his wife, So Trafford; children and spouses, Laura and Ron Haynes, Johnny and Sylvia Rose, Gaby and Kevin Hansen; grandchildren, Valerie, Angie, Robert, Alana, Jonathan and Jace; also by 7 great-grandchildren and extended family. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Thigpen officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Army military honors.
