Douglas Edward Pennock, loving husband and father, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2010 at the age of 49. Doug was born on September 15, 1960 in San Antonio, TX to Norman and Bobbi Pennock. He loved to sing and was a great cook. Doug was a deacon at Woodlawn Hills Church of Christ. The joy and love of his life was his 2 daughters. Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbi Pennock. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Patti Pennock; daughters, Emily and Rebekah; brother, Mark Pennock; sister, Robin Evans; and father, Norman and step-mother Oretha Pennock. Doug will be missed by many, many people. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Emily Pennock and Rebekah Pennock Scholarship fund through United San Antonio Federal Credit Union. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at University Oaks Church of Christ, 4687 Lockhill Selma Road.
