Dorothy Irma Connell Martin, 90, passed away peacefully Monday, January 4, 2021 in Boerne, Texas. She was born April 23, 1930, the youngest daughter of Ralph S. Connell and Louise H Gardiner Connell of Cranston, Rhode Island both of whom preceded her in death.
She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years John H. Martin, Jr. She is survived by their three children, Karen Pulliam, Sandra Martin and David Martin. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Dorothy and her family lived 52 years in El Paso, TX where she was a member of Tobin Park United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included parakeets, playing cards, board games, reading magazines and spending time at their second home in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Viewing will be Monday, January 18, 2021 at 5:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 9:00 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas
