Dorothy (Peanut) Hoekstra Kosub, age 82, of Adkins Texas passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 27, 1934 in Iowa. Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, James Hoekstra; and her parents Andrew and Hilda Hoekstra. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Hubert J Kosub; daughter, Becky Gembler and husband, Ernest Jr; son, Gerald Kosub and wife, Donna; brother, Arnold Hoekstra and wife, Marylou, brother Herman Hoekstra; sister in law, Linda Hartman Hoekstra Jonas; grandchildren Nathan Kosub, Shenna Gembler-Hayden, husband Rodney, Shane Gembler, Jason Gembler and wife Robin; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home 1701 Austin Highway San Antonio Texas 78218. The funeral service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Thursday 10 a.m. March 30, 2017.
