Donna C. Villegas

Donna Cantu Villegas was called home to the Lord on May 17, 2013. Donna was born on September 13, 1965 and spent most of her childhood in McAllen, Tx. In 1998, she, her husband and three children then moved to San Antonio, Tx where she made a home for her family until the end of her life. Although she will be greatly missed on earth, her children are comforted knowing that Donna is once again reunited with her mother, Dolores Cantu, who passed only five years ago. Donna was a strong woman who never was afraid to stand up for what she believed in. She devoted her life to her three children, always reminding them that family was the most precious thing we are granted with in our lifetime. Donna is survived by her grandmother, Guadalupe Navarro, her father, Arturo Cantu, her four siblings, Victor Cantu, Robert Cantu, Arturo Cantu and Marisa Gutierrez, her husband, Rafael Villegas, her children, Cassandra D. Gonzales (Cody Gonzales), Danarae Aleman and Rafael Villegas Jr. and her granddaughter, Madilynn Rose Gonzales.

All celebration of Donna C. Villegas’ life will be in San Antonio, Tx. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary on her behalf at 7p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013. Her funeral will then be on Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Northwest beginning with a church service in the chapel. The Funeral Procession will then depart from the same location at 11 a.m. to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where family and friends can say their last goodbyes.
