Donald William Deaton was born in Horse Cave, Kentucky on December 20, 1941 to Mollie Miller and Benjamin Franklin Deaton and passed from this life, surrounded by his loving family, on September 10, 2016 in Floresville, Texas.
He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, and worked many years for H. B. Zachary as a Supervisor in the Data Entry Department.
He is survived by the love of his life for 54 years, Holly; daughter, Dayna R. Deaton; son, Don W. Deaton, Jr. (Gracie); granddaughters, Amber Denea Gomez, Auburn Grace Deaton, Ariel Victoria Deaton, Maddison Miley Lorenz; brothers, Wayne Deaton and Frank Deaton (Joyce).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
