Don W. Jackson

Don W. Jackson entered eternal rest on September 2,2017. Born on January 8,1933 in Yuba, Oklahoma to Clyde W. and Thelma Jackson; he now reunites with his parents and daughter Beverly. He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Margaret “Peggy” Jackson, children: Susan (Chris),Laura “Jane”, Karen (late husband Gabe), Patricia “Pat” (Albert “Buddy”), Margaret “Maggie;” 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings: Margaret, Linda, Mary Sue (Ted), and numerous other relatives. Don faithfully served his country in the United States Army, retiring after over 20 years. He also retired from the defense department and was a volunteer for over 20 years in many organizations such as: Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and local senior center. Don was devoted in all he set forth in doing. He had a strong work ethic and was a generous, kind and loving man who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive guests at the funeral home Monday, September 25,2017 for a 9:30a.m. Celebration of Life. Interment will follow at 11:15a.m. in Ft.Sam Houston National Cemetery.
