Domingo G. Ramos Sr.

Our wonderful Dad, Domingo G. Ramos, beloved father, and husband went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 87. Married for 61 years to the late Mary Helen who passed away November 28, 2023. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to the late Alejos Ramos and Amelia Gusme Ramos.

Domingo was a self-made man with little education that became a master craftsman and successful business owner in the furniture upholstery industry for over 60 years. He enjoyed working with many of the city's boutique interior designers and had several famous clients. He was also well known for his extreme generosity and ability to fill a room with laughter.

Mingo is survived and missed by his loving children; Janie Martinez (Ben), Domingo Ramos, Jr. (Veronica), Richard Ramos; grandchildren: Jessica Marlene, Chrisitan Paige, Richard Alan, Timothy Aaron, Bailey Nicole, Clarissa Dominque, and Domingo Joaquin; great-grandchildren; Madison Ava and Richard Roe; sister: Guadalupe Rodriguez and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N Main Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78205.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Rose of Lima Church, 9883 Marbach Rd., at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2023.
