Diego Mares Ortega, born on November 13, 1953 in Rancho De Durasno, Guanajuato, Mexico was called to be with the Lord on March 26, 2020 at the age of 66. He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneovez P. Ortega; father, Juan Andrade Salinas; mother, Andrea Mares Ortega;sister, Juanita D. Salinas; stepson,

Pedro Salinas. He is survived by his children, Patricia Ortega (Rogelio Martinez), Julio Ricardo Ortega (Estella O.), Yvette O. Reyes (Edward Reyes), Maria Salinas, Rosa Salinas, Mario Salinas, Daniel Salinas (Maribel) and Javier Salinas (Janice); 26 grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Abel Ortega (Josefina), Arturo Ortega and Jesus Ortega; sisters, Rosa Ortega and Maria Garcia (Adolfo Garcia). The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at San Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
