Diane L. "Dee" Gamble

Diane Lynn Gamble “Dee” went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013. She was born on July 11, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. Dee lived a very active life. She was born in Baltimore Md. and spent her child hood in Maryland, Germany, Florida, Texas, and Japan. After graduating high school in Japan, she returned to Texas to attended community college and then moved to Colorado where she lived and worked for several years before returning to Texas to finish college, earning a degree in accounting. She began her accounting career with Valero. She had many passions including bowling and gambling. She bowled on several leagues in San Antonio and enjoyed frequent trips to Las Vegas. She was very devoted to family and friends. She was an animal lover. Her special love was her dachshund Daisy Mae. She will be remembered for her love of life.She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Gamble Jr., her mother, Fern Wallace Gamble, and her brother, Ronald L. Gamble. She is survived by her brother, James Michael Gamble and wife Susan Meader; sister-in-law, Linda Gamble; niece, Kristen Rea and husband Greg; niece, Amanda Keyworth and husband Chuck; nieces, Larissa Gamble, & Audrey Gamble; nephew, Seth Gamble; great-nieces, Renae and Sydney Rea; as well as numerous family members and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and physicians at NE Methodist Hospital, especially Stephanie Garcia, RN, & Alice RN in ICU, Lillie, RN from Dialysis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 7:00 P.M.
